What Types of Online Craps Bets Are There?

Types of Craps Bets
Casino craps offers players freedom of choice and this freedom scares novice gamers. Actually, learning craps bets isn't just easy, but extremely easy.
The most widespread and perhaps the most popular craps bet is "pass line". Let's say casino player made this type of bet at the beginning of the game. Player wins in case the dice sum is 7 or 11. If 2,3 or 12 are rolled, the bet is lost. All the other numbers which we haven't mentioned are called point numbers.
From the mathematical point of view, in case of "pass line" bet casino edge cannot be higher than 1.41% and this makes it very lucrative. Don't disregard this bet if you are a novice casino player.
"Don't pass" bet isn't less popular type of craps bet. By placing this bet, casino player wins in cases when 2 or 3 are rolled, and when the sum of the dice is 7 or 11, casino player loses. It's almost absolute opposite of "pass line" bet. Basically, you bet against other online casino players.
Other Bet Types
"Pass line" and "don't pass" are not the only craps bets. If by throwing first time casino player sets point number, it's possible to place additional bets.
"Big Six" bet. Think three times before placing it, since this bet gives enormous casino edge. You'll win with this type of bet only if 6 is rolled before 7.
"Big Eight" bet is almost the same as "Big Six". Casino player wins if number 8 is rolled before 9.
"Hard 4", "Hard 10" and "proposition" are the riskiest craps bets. Casino edge is super high. It's 11% and 13.9% ("proposition"). So, try to avoid them.
Field bet is the one that wins when 3,4,9,10,11 are rolled and loses in case of 5,6,7,8.
A Bit More About Bet Types
"Come" bet - pass. Note that this bet can be placed only after Point number is determined. You win in case 7 or 11 are rolled. You lose if 2,3 or 12 are rolled.
"Don't Come" bet is so called “don't pass line” bet. Placing this bet is possible only if Point number is set. Casino player wins if the sum is 2 or 3. Player loses if 7 or 11 are rolled. If there are two sixes (the sum is 12) the bet is returned.
One of the most interesting and attractive bets is the bet on a certain number (Place). Casino player can bet on 5,6,8,9 or 10, and bets are placed on that number winning as well as losing. When the bet is on the number winning, casino player wins in case this number is rolled before 7. If the bet is made on that number losing, then winning is announced in cases when 7 is rolled before the number chosen by casino player.
"E" bets. Everything is pretty simple. You win if 11 is rolled.
